Brief description

The Sales Engineer (P2) is responsible for providing technical and commercial sales support to Aquafides’ channel partner network, with a primary focus on quotations, technical clarification, and Salesforce (SFDC) data accuracy.
This role supports the sales organization by enabling efficient opportunity progression while ensuring compliance with Trojan and Veralto commercial processes.

This position is part of the EMEA commercial organization and works in close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Operations.

Your area of responsibility

Channel Partner & Sales Support

  • Serve as a technical sales support resource for Trojan & Aquafides channel partners
  • Respond in a timely manner to technical inquiries related to product selection, system configuration, and application requirements
  • Support Regional Sales Managers and partners throughout the pre‑order sales cycleCoordinate internally with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to
  • resolve technical or scope-related question

 

Quotation & RFQ Management

  • Prepare technical and commercial quotations in line with approved pricing, scope, and margin guidelines
  • Support Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for Pre-engineered UV systems
  • Ensure quotation accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer and partner requirements
  • Support clarification responses during tender and negotiation phases

 

Salesforce (SFDC) & Commercial Process Execution

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in Salesforce, including:
  • Opportunities
  • Quotes
  • Account and partner data
  • Ensure compliance with standard sales process steps and data quality expectations
  • Support funnel visibility, opportunity tracking, and internal reporting

 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, and Operations teams
  • Support the transition from quotation to order handover when required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales support processes and tools

Your profile

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Technical education (Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or similar discipline)
  • 2–5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support, Inside Sales Engineer, or Application Support role within an industrial or technical B2B environment
  • Fluency in German, French and English

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting channel partner sales models
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM systems
  • Experience in water treatment, UV, industrial equipment, or process technology markets
